 Our Mission:

Our mission is to provide state of the art outpatient mental health services to adults and older adults in the San Diego area.

Our care philosophy is based on a concern for the overall psychological well-being of our patients and respect for their individual needs.

Our primary goal focuses on alleviating acute psychological distress resulting from life crises and mental disorders and on improving quality of life.  We achieve this goal through the delivery of coordinated psychiatric services provided by a multi-disciplinary team of UCSD faculty and mental health professionals –in- training tailored to the patient’s individual needs.

We believe that a key factor in psychological health is a strong support system and community connection.  We have firmly established relationships with community mental health, social service and self-help groups that we enlist on behalf of our patients.

We strive to coordinate care with all providers involved with our patients to achieve integrated services. We offer psychological, behavioral and psychopharmacological treatments that are based on the latest research within the context of a trusting and respectful therapeutic relationship.
