Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) Taskforce

UC San Diego Health employees Diane Wiskus, RN and Sabrina Ortega helped set up materials in the Hillcrest Hospital to engage staff, physicians, and others in conversation and education about the sad reality of increasing drug overdose deaths in our community on August 29th as part of International Overdose Awareness Day. They are members of the UC San Diego Health’s Opioid Use Disorder Taskforce, a multidisciplinary group with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and others who meet bimonthly to organize our community to better address the needs and challenges around opioids and opioid use disorders for our providers and patients.
