Didactics

We are dedicated to educating competent and compassionate clinicians so we pride ourselves on offering outstanding didactics that prepare our fellows for practice. We design our didactic courses thoughtfully with alternating courses each year and innovative teaching methods that engage learners. Our fellows receive comprehensive didactics on topics that include, but are not limited to: psychopharmacology, individual psychotherapies, group and family psychotherapy, professionalism, development, ethics, neuropsychiatry, community psychiatry, trauma and child abuse, psychological assessment, cultural psychiatry, and board review. UC San Diego Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Didactics are taught by UC San Diego faculty within various disciplines, community experts, and visiting scholars.
