Dr. Catherine Ayers

Catherine Ayers, Ph.D., ABPP, is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Her research focuses on advancing the characterization of hoarding disorder and developing, evaluating, and implementing community-based behavioral interventions for older adults. Her recent work emphasizes personalized treatment, digital delivery, coordinated community responses, and interventions designed to improve everyday functioning among older adults with hoarding disorder.

Over 100 peer-reviewed publications (Funded by NIH, VA, IOCDF and County of San Diego)
