1. Neurofeedback training for individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI)

About the Study

Subjects are randomized to either active or placebo treatment, and neither the subject nor the personnel working with the subject know group assignment.

Requirements

This study is active with limited recruitment, by invitation only. To be eligible, subjects must be:

  • Men and women between the ages of 50-85 years, of any race/ethnicity with a diagnosis of MCI.
  • Meet criteria for mild cognitive impairment (MCI).
  • Living independently.
  • Literate in English.
  • Competent to participate in the informed consent process and provide voluntary informed consent.

2. Preliminary data collection of neurofeedback training for individuals with mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI)

About the Study

All subjects are given the active treatment.

Requirements

This study is active with limited recruitment, by invitation only. To be eligible, subjects must be:

  • Above the age of 18 and of any race/ethnicity.
  • Meet criteria for mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI).
  • Had mTBI within the past 2 years, and at least 3 months prior to enrollment.
  • Literate in English.
  • Competent to participate in the informed consent process and provide voluntary informed consent.
