Tracks and Rotations

We are proud to offer two customized educational tracks to both our fellows and prospective applicants! Each track can be selected through ERAS, and please see the How to Apply section regarding NRMP numbers for each trackApplying to BOTH the Traditional Track and the Community Track increases the chances of receiving an interview! The first year of training is identical for both Traditional Track and Community Track Fellows, while the second year experiences are quite different. Both tracks include ample opportunities for psychotherapy. Both first and second year of fellowship in all tracks include a full, uninterrupted day of didactics that is pager-free.   • Traditional TrackThe Traditional Track offers exposure to general outpatient child and adolescent psychiatry, urgent care, and mental health integration in a collaborative care model with pediatrics. We typically offer 4 Traditional Track positions per year. 
  • Community TrackThe Community Track offers exposure to specialized community populations, including youth at risk for sex-trafficking, juvenile justice, near-homelessness, foster-care involved youth, and a residential treatment center experience. Community Track fellows also get to participate in additional community-based systems of care didactics, and also participate in additional advocacy and scholarship opportunities. We typically offer 2 Community Track positions per year.
