Enhancing Transdiagnostic Mechanisms of Cognitive Dyscontrol

Requirements

  • Age 21-55
  • Experiencing elevated mood or anxiety symptoms, including persistent negative thinking
  • Able to safely complete an MRI scan
  • Own a smartphone, such as an Iphone or Android
As a participant you will:
  • Complete MRI scans
  • Complete assessments of mood and anxiety symptoms, and thinking skills like memory and attention
  • Be randomized to complete one of two computerized cognitive training programs

Establishing Multidimensional Neural Substrates of Repetitive Negative Thinking 

Requirements

  • Age 21-55

  • Complete assessments of mood and anxiety symptoms, and thinking skills like memory and attention

 

Application of a Mobile Health Platform for Assessing Cognition and Psychiatric Symptoms in Veterans

Requirements

  • Age 18-65
  • United States military veteran
  • Own a smartphone

As a participant you will:

  • Complete assessments of mood and anxiety symptoms, and thinking skills like memory and attention
  • Complete phone-based surveys 6xday for 2 weeks

 

Enhancing Treatment Outcomes Among Veterans With Alcohol Use Disorder: Clinical and Neural markers of Adjunctive Approach-Avoidance Training

Requirements

  • Age 18-65
  • United States military veteran
  • Currently enrolled in treatment for alcohol use at the VA

As a participant you will:

  • Complete assessments of mood and anxiety symptoms, and thinking skills like memory and attention
  • Complete MRI scans
  • Be randomized to either complete a computer-based task thought to help with symptoms of alcohol use disorder or a similar task that is not thought to be as helpful (otherwise known as a sham condition)
